It is through her millinery work that she discovered and has been passionate since 2014 about the art of featherwork, one of the last remaining skills of the living French heritage.

 

Gifted with great dexterity and patience, her creativity is expressed like that of a goldsmith, where she chooses, in compliance with the Washington Convention (CITES), mixes species together, associates and assembles each feather one by one according to its color, its design, its shape and its volume in a timeless space.

 

Between art and natural sciences, she seeks in an intuitive and experimental way to reveal the secret writing of feathers without altering them.

 

Fascinated by the interplay of natural feathers, particularly those of pheasants; between iridescent colors, graphics, textures, aerodynamic shapes and the alchemy of feathers and hairs, she lets herself be guided and tames them beyond her will.

Under the creative impulse, they vibrate beneath her fingers, giving birth to a new way of perceiving, offering them new lives...

 

Thanks to the subtlety of its marquetry and bas-relief, each creation is a unique object of natural curiosity , a composition where feathers come together in unprecedented harmonies, rhythms and optical effects evoking perpetual transformation...
